URBANIZACIÓN LA MERCED
Seven city blocks make up La Merced, which are distributed into proportionally equal lots that differ only by the slope of the lot. The price of each depends on its location, since some of them directly border the Parque Nacional.
The first house that was built was owned by Benjamin Moreno located on Carrera 7 with Calle 36 whose design and construction was carried out by a Chilean architectural firm, who were responsible for recreating the English Tudor style that was originally developed in England.
The English Tudor style or the Tudorbethan Style was defined by its sloped rooflines, curved bay windows that projected from the brick façade, and elaborate fireplaces.
